Who We Are

Bringing Light to Hawaii's Communities

Salt & Light Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization serving the people of Honolulu and the broader Hawaiian community. Founded on the principles of compassion, service, and spiritual renewal, we work to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of those around us.

Our name is inspired by the Biblical call to be "the salt of the earth and the light of the world" — to preserve what is good and to illuminate the path for others. We believe that every person in Hawaii deserves dignity, hope, and a community that cares.

Weekly food distributions and community meals serving hundreds of families across Honolulu who face food insecurity.

Youth Mentorship

After-school programs, mentoring, and spiritual guidance for Hawaii's youth, helping them grow in character and purpose.

Family Support

Counseling, crisis intervention, and practical assistance for families facing hardship, homelessness, or domestic challenges.

Community Outreach

Neighborhood events, volunteer drives, and partnerships with local organizations to strengthen Hawaii's social fabric.
